Celebration Overview & Ritual Significance
Dev Deepawali is celebrated on Kartika Purnima (fifteen days after Diwali). It is believed that the Gods descend from heaven to bathe in the holy Ganges of Kashi on this night.
Devotee & Pilgrim Guidance
During major festivals, riverfront ghats and temple corridors experience significant pilgrim congregations. Early arrival before sunset is recommended for optimal Aarti viewing and boat transit.
